Know when a fax actually arrived

Every fax service says "accepted" the moment it takes your pages. Whether the machine on the other end picked up is a different question - and the answer used to live in an email, if it came at all.

The queue after a busy afternoon: two delivered, one the other machine never answered - with Resend right on the row.
The queue after a busy afternoon: two delivered, one the other machine never answered - with Resend right on the row.

Now FaxDesk keeps asking. For 90 minutes after a fax goes out it checks with your fax service every couple of minutes. If the far end never took it, the row turns red with the reason in plain words - not delivered: no answer from the receiving fax - and a Resend button is right there. If it went through, the row says delivered. No digging, no second system.

This closes the loop we promised when we announced Free Fax Desk: retry on busy lines, and a plain-language reason when a fax fails for good.

How it works at the desk
  1. Send a fax as usual. The row shows sent - checking delivery.
  2. Within a few minutes it changes to sent - delivered, or turns red with the reason.
  3. Red? Fix the number if it was wrong, then press Resend. The resend is watched the same way.

Free for one desk. One file, no installer, nothing leaves your PC but the fax.
