FaxDesk is open-source software released under the MIT licence. The licence says it plainly and we repeat it here: the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, and in no event are we liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from it or its use. You are responsible for how you use it, for the accuracy of the numbers you fax to, for your provider account and its charges, and for compliance with the laws that apply to your office (including, for healthcare offices, your own HIPAA obligations and your agreement with your fax provider).
FaxDesk is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Phone.com or any other fax service. Their terms govern your account with them.
The free version is licensed for use on one PC per office. The whole-office option, which opens FaxDesk to other desks on your office network, requires a licence key. A key is sold per office location for a one-time fee and may be used on any number of desks at that location. Keys are not transferable to another business. If you lose a key we will re-issue it to the email address it was bought with. Because the software is open source, the key is a convenience and a fair-dealing arrangement, not copy protection; please respect it.
Refunds: if the whole-office option does not work in your office within 30 days of purchase and we cannot make it work, we refund the fee.
